Pirates in Paradise Present Beach Bash 2010

Beach Bash 2010 to be held at Brew Works on the Green - Allentown Municipal Golf Course 3400 West Tilghman Street Allentown, PA 18104. This event will be held outside under the tent.

Date - May 21, 2010
Time- 6:00 P.M. til ? Doors open at 6:00 P.M. JIMMY AND JIMMY will start at 7:00 and play until 10:00.
Admission: $10 per person, $5 per keet under 12 years old
Food: Pay as you go grill items such as hamburgers, hot dogs, sausage, BBQ brisket and chicken.
Drink and beer specials will be determined.

"Festival" games, silent auction, and raffle drawings for some great fun!

Beneficiary of Fundraising Event: The Michael J. Fox Foundation - raising funds for Parkinson's research.

What is Parkinson's disease?
Parkinson's disease is a chronic, degenerative neurological disorder that affects one in 100 people over age 60. Today, we understand Parkinson's to be a disorder of the central nervous system that results from the loss of cells in various parts of the brain.

As some of you may know, my Dad suffered from Parkinson's disease. It is not only a disease that affects the patient but also his/her family.

OUR GOAL: TO RAISE $3,000 !

HOW ARE WE GOING TO DO THIS!!??? AS A PARROTHEAD TEAM!

ALONG WITH EARNING POINTS FOR NEXT YEARS BUFFETT CONCERT HERE ARE SOME MORE INCENTIVES!

Volunteers Needed: Of course, an event like this can't be successful without dedicated volunteers. I am hoping to have enough volunteers so that their time is limited to 1 hr. I am also looking for volunteers to help decorate the morning of the event. Members will receive points for volunteering!

Silent Auction and Raffle Items: Anyone who donates or works to get donations worth $100 or more will be given free admission to the event!

Band Sponsors: I am looking for 3 Band Sponsors at $250 a piece. Band Sponsors will be given free admission for 4, VIP seating, acknowledgement and a special gift!
